Shared Hosting:

Generally will either be a Portal (if it’s a new setup) on a current shared DNN host, or it will be a DNN Host instance (if it’s being moved). DNNHosts will get an IP address assigned (individual portals will not).

DNN Shared Hosting

Our managed hosting environment is monitored 24x7 for intrusions and security and includes hosting and management of the DotNetNuke platform. Unlike most hosting companies that just put your site there and leave it alone. We actively monitor and manage your DotNetNuke solution. We maintain the latest stable releases of DotNetNuke and the modules you use to make sure it’s always running optimally and securely. The cost of this maintenance and monitoring is built into our hosting. If DotNetNuke releases a critical update, we install it at no extra cost, if there is a new version release with new features,,, we install it at no extra cost.

Our shared hosting environment includes

• 200GB of monthly Transfer
• 10 POP3 Email accounts

ASPDNSF hosting

Our managed hosting environment is monitored 24x7 for intrusions and security and includes hosting and management of the ASPDNSF platform. We actively monitor your ASPDNSF solution. We maintain the latest stable releases of ASPDNSF and make sure it’s always running optimally and securely. The cost of this maintenance and monitoring is built into our hosting. If ASPDNSF releases a critical update, we install it at no extra cost. New Feature releases that are part of your ASPDNSF license are reviewed with you when they come out and an optional upgrade plan is devised with you in the event the new features are useful in your situation.

If DNN or ASPDNSF is not involved at all (we do host PHP, Wordpress, MySQL, ASP, ASP.NET) Includes the following:

• 1GB total HD space (Email, DB and website are totaled together – logfiles are excluded from the total)
• SQL 2008 DB (if needed)
• DNN Updates to purchased modules and Core as they become available (and are tested as stable)
• Nightly backups (first restore from backup is free)
• FTP Access (for those on dedicated DNN host, or not using DNN)

Our Virtual Private Servers:

Our Virtual Private Servers (VPS) are done differently than most of the industry. We dedicate the resources to each VPS instead of sharing resources. The only thing our VPS share is the motherboard of the server, the power, and the CPU (even that is split and assigned). We do this for 2 reasons. First we want to make all of our servers easily scalable and capable of being included in a redundant environment (we can move VPS servers around to higher hardware in minutes if the website needs a sudden unpredicted boost of power). We assign RAM, Hard Drives and CPU Cores to each VPS – none of these are shared with any other VPS on the physical server. For example, one physical server may have 16GB of RAM and Dual Xeon 64bit processors (that’s 8 CPU cores) and 8 73GB Hard Drives. That physical machine will be divided up to 8 VPS servers (each with 2GB of RAM, 1 Processor, 73GB HD). That is unlike most VPS vendors that will put up to 40 VPS servers on that same machine and share out the resources across the entire server. All of our servers are managed hosting – we optimize the environment, monitor it 24x7 and keep the security patches up. Any DNN installs will receive patches and updates (as they are deemed stable).

We offer VPS servers in three setups:

• 4GB Ram, Dual Xeon Core, Windows 2003/2008, 140GB HD, Dedicated IP, SQL 2008 Web Edition, Smartermail Enterprise 10 mailboxes
• 4GB Ram, Quad Xeon Core, Windows 2003/2008, 140GB HD (mirrored), Dedicated IPs, SQL 2008 Web Edition, Smartermail Enterprise 10 mailboxes – unlike the other two servers above, this one is on fully dedicated hardware, the only reason it’s called a VPS is for disaster recovery and scalability.
